CT Liver Scan

CT images of the liver can be obtained during a CT abdominal scan and pelvis scan. These scans give doctors a 3-dimensional visual image that provides detailed information about the liver.

CT liver scans give doctors more detailed information on such conditions than do regular x-rays (radiographs).
